To the brave and beautiful woman reading this,

Hi 👋 and thank you for indulging what might be the weirdest thing that's happened to you today. Yes, some random woman just handed you a QR code (or sent you this link) on the street / at a bar or cafe / during a meetup. That was me (proof of non-creepiness available here: my instagram).
Now, you're probably wondering... Why am I here? Short answer: I've always wanted to be a matchmaker, and this page is actually a birthday gift for my co-founder and friend, JJ (because… San Francisco. Anything and everything is a prototype. His birthday: Sept 11).
So, allow me to introduce you to someone I think you should absolutely meet: JJ (short for Jose Xavier). He's 29, 5' 9" and very much looking for a serious relationship.
Green flags
- Calm, honest, positive, genuine, and veeeryy goofy. The kind of guy who brings lightness into any room, even serious investor meetings.
- Went from pre-med → neuroscience → physics → computer science → ex-Apple engineer → co-founder in immigration tech. Basically cut from a different cloth.
- He once DoorDashed around the city just to stay fit during covid, did the Alcatraz swim, likes to snowboard, loves water sports, took his parents to Coachella (TWICE!!), and is concerningly obsessed with Bad Bunny.

You can reach him on Bumble, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Email (whatever feels safest and most comfortable for you). Conversation Starter Idea: If you're lazy to type out a first message (and want to take tips from someone inexperienced), feel free to start with: "Yo, your co-founder is fun. She handed me a QR code, and now here I am. Happy belated/advanced birthday!"
Wouldn't it be a hilarious story to tell someday? "So how did you two meet?"
"Oh, some random woman handed me a QR code on the street, and now here we are…"
Thanks for reading my birthday gift. If JJ sounds like your vibe, go ahead and say hi. And if, in the unlucky chance, the beautiful woman reading this is not single, but you know someone in your close circle who might be a great fit for JJ, please pass this along as a joke. That joke might just turn into one of the best decisions they ever make. Hopefully you get the idea...

Why I reeeaaaally wrote this letter? It's simple ROI: a happy co‑founder = a successful company.
